ACT Insert-Snap Series
The ACT Insert-Snap Series is one of our core product lines, designed and manufactured in Taiwan by ACT Quality Industrial Co., Ltd. Built around our patented Insert-Snap wrench design, the series combines high torque performance, a compact form factor and superior build quality for professionals who need both power and precision in tight spaces.
Unlike a conventional ratchet and socket stack, an Insert-Snap wrench accepts 11H, 17H or 22H hex-drive super short sockets directly in the wrench head. Removing the separate socket adaptor lowers the overall tool height, so technicians can reach fasteners in engine bays, suspension assemblies, motorcycles and compact machinery where standard tools will not fit. Quick-release adaptors, extension bars and universal joints extend the same system to regular 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive sockets and bits.
The range includes individual Insert-Snap wrenches such as the 3/8″ Dr. ACT2501-3 with built-in square drive, 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 interchangeable ratchet wrench sets, and complete kits from 18 to 76 pieces covering 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive sizes. Supporting items include super short sockets, super short bit sockets, universal and swivel bit sockets, and super short impact sockets with color rings for quick size identification.
Materials are selected for each component: CR-V steel for wrenches and hand sockets, CR-MO steel for impact sockets, S2 steel for bits and SCM440 for quick-release adaptors. Finishes include mirror polish, sanding mirror chrome and manganese phosphate, with packaging in blow mold cases, plastic cases or metal boxes.
